Hel-Ped

Hel-Ped is a recently establish firm of long-serving professionals in special needs education.

The firm provides specialist services to educational personnel, institutions and others that are engaged in professional service-provision to children and adults with visual impairments. Hel-Ped also trains and provides services to adults with physical or intellectual (mental) disabilities. Through innovative research and work in information communication technology, Hel-Ped always seeks practical solutions which aim at enabling the individual with a disability to maximize his/her educational participation and benefits. Hel-Ped is based at Melhus in Central Norway. The main areas of focus for company activities are:
Research & Development of adaptive software programmes,
Adaption of assistive technology for people with visual impairments,
Organization of individual and group tailored courses.
Hel-Ped personnel have many years' experience of ha/rehabilitation service delivery in Scandinavia and from development work in Africa and Indonesia.
