Resource Access is an independent consulting firm and provider of services that aim at empowering people with disabilities.

We specialise in service delivery to people with visual impairments. Many years of work experience with individuals and groups in East Africa and Scandinavia have made us multitask professionals in designing, planning, implementing and evaluating empowerment programmes/initiatives for people with visual impairments. Our approach is always multidisciplinary and espouses multi-sector partnership and networking with relevant stakeholders to ensure quality and sustainable results.

The mobility and rehabilitation programme (MBR) facilitates activities of daily living & empowerment

We provide services in
the following areas:

Human Development

Development Project formulation/design planning and implementation

Capacity building and competence provision to rehabilitation service delivery bodies for people with visual impairments.

Adaptation of mainstream development programmes for inclusivity of people with visual impairments.

Organisation

Planning, coordination and monitoring of activities; including seminars, workshops, etc.

Cultural dissemination

Project review and evaluation Research Identifying, highlighting, understanding and finding practical solutions to the challenges different categories and sub-groups of people with disabilities and members of their families experience.

Procurement

Provide procurement services for specialized equipment/materials (including used).

Organize competence acquisition of such specialized equipment.

Recreation

Organize specially adapted Safaris to Uganda, East Africa.
